Case Study - Strengthening Skills, Tools and Systems for Better Services

This case study aims to present the lessons learned and forward looking perspectives for the capacity development component of the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria (hereafter ‘the Global Fund’) Round 8 Grant to Zimbabwe and preparing for the transition from UNDP to national entities to serve as Principal Recipient. Capacity development, at the core, is about strengthening the ability of societies to respond to the challenges and opportunities they are presented with.
